Check out all the great activities we have planned for your child(ren) this summer. At Tech Generation Learning Center and the STEM & ARTS Academy, we pride ourselves on creating "summer joy" that will last in your child's memories for a lifetime. We also have some fabulous Field Trips planned this summer.
Can you say fun? Write and record your own songs with the help of camp tutors and a real live music producer. You and your summer camp friends can sing karaoke, learn to play guitar and drums (Rock Band Camp), and dance, dance, dance to your favorite songs (teacher-approved of course).
You are never to young to learn to cook delicious and nutritious foods. Summer campers will follow health and safety protocols and put on their apron and chef hat and prepare step-by-step recipes guided by a cooking professional and culinary helpers. Add in some summer gardening and get ready for a fantastic cooking camp.
Our summer production "I Know Who I Am" bullying prevention play was a huge success. Campers learned how to act and interact together saying their lines in a believable way. Campers learned about wardrobe selection for difference scenes. They learned voice projection, timing, set designs and much more. We have a brand-new play production planned for this summer. Summer Campers also express their creativity by participating in singing and dance competitions throughout the summer. Great fun for everyone!
"Be a Vet for a Day" is just one of the many STEM career fields our campers will explore this summer. Our summer campers will be exposed to a wide variety of STEM activities and careers by taking field trips to colleges and universities, cooperative extension outings, farms, museums, parks, and aquarium. Students explore Science & Discovery, Robotics, Drones, Nature, Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and more during our Summer STEM Camps.
Play sports recreation with your summer camp friends and enjoy friendly competitions. Our sports recreation club includes organized tennis, soccer, basketball, touch football, relay races, kickball, volleyball, and table games.
Creative arts & crafts projects, painting and drawing, make your own jewelry, and design handbags, wallets, hats, t-shirts, and more.

Research says that the summer learning gap can have a negative impact on the next school year, because children can forget a lot of what they have learned in class. Our summer camp features one-to-one tutoring in Reading / Language Arts and Math from highly qualified staff and summer tutors from colleges and universities. Let our team help your child be READY for the next school year. We are a committed community partner with the West Point Consolidated School District. "Let's go Green Wave!"

Decreased Risky Behaviors: A meta-analysis by the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL), reviewing close to six dozen studies of after school programs, found that students who participated in an after school program exhibited significant improvement in their feelings and attitudes and indicators of behavioral adjustment. Students in programs also saw reductions in drug use and problem behavior, such as aggression, noncompliance, and conduct problems.
